Letter from R. Avrohom Elimelech Perlow of Karlin - Letter from R. Avrohom Elimelech Perlow of Karlin R. Avrohom Elimelech Perlow (1892- 1943), was a son of R. Yisrael of Stolin (known as ‘the Frankfurter’ or ‘the Yenuka’). He became Rebbe to thousands of Stoliner Chasidim following his father’s passing in 1922. He founded Yeshivas Ohr Yisroel in Luninyets (where Rav Shach served for a few years as Rosh yeshiva), as well as Yeshivas Beis Aaron in Yerusholayim. His disciple R. Moshe Mordechai Biderman of Lelov said of him that he was the “Ba’al Shem Tov of the generation”.
