בהסכמת אחיו הגאון משאמלוי רבי שלמה זלמן ערנרייך הוא מספר שהגאון בעל 'דרכי תשובה' ראה את הספר בביתו ושיבחו מאוד ואף שלח הסכמה למחבר, רק היא נאבדה בדרך. לא מצוי.
