The Auction contains 656 lots representing the best ever formed collection of Carpatho-Ukraine.
The Collection comprises of the following important parts:
- Hungarian stamps used in Carpatho-Ukraine;
- Hungarian stamps and postal history items with Chust, Mukačevo, Berehove and Teresva overprints;
- The First Uzhgorod issue, including surcharges on Fiscal stamps;
- The Second Uzhgorod issue, including surcharges over Chust "ČSP. 1944" overprints;
- Postal History items of the 1st and 2nd Uzhgorod surcharges, including several one of a kind franking pieces;
- First, Second and Third Soviet issues, including valuable proofs and beautiful units on original Collection pages;
- Postal History of the Soviet issues, including large Collection of correspondences from the local Post Offices;
- Postal Stationery items, including issues of Chust, Mukačevo and NRZU (Narodna Rada Zakarpatskoi Ukrainy - National Council of Carpatho-Ukraine).

LARGE POSTAL HISTORY COLLECTION: 1945, 96 items and 6 cancelled pieces, representing covers and cards mainly franked by Soviet issues, besides them 4 official free-frank items, 1 franked by Uzhgorod surcharge and 1 by Soviet aviator stamp; 10 covers or cards have Uzhgorod origin, then correspondences from Antalovce to Volove, the total is 59 different towns and villages, vast majority is one of each, more then one are presented Berehovo (3 items and 2 pieces), Chust (2 items), Irshava (3+1), Mukačevo (4 items) and a few others; all arranged on Collection pages, occasional conveyance flaws possible, generally nice and valuable unit with individual prices $100-$250, F/VF, Est. $10,000-$15,000, Majer #1-8
