Rare: Chut Shel Chesed by Rabbi Eliyahu Hakohen from Izmir Baal "Shevet Mussar", Izmir 1865.
Rabbi Eliyahu Hakohen Haitamari from Izmir from the great preachers of his generations, He was a shining wonder of the Rabbis of Izmir. He wrote more then 30 compositions and he brought back many people to repentance by his many speeches" –testimony of the chid"a. He was known and awed by both the scholars of the Ashkenazim and Sefaradim. Specifically , his first book "Shevet Mussar" that had countless editions.
Baal "Shevet Mussar" died of old age in the year 1729.He now lies in the Jewish cemetery in Izmir.
