Fundamental and comprehensive commentary on the Mechilta. With a lengthy preface by the author, in which he writes about the special name he chose for this work, and a foreword by his father, Rabbi Moshe of Frankfurt, who was a dayan in Amsterdam, and who authored 'Be'er Heitev' on Shulchan Aruch; also known for his work on the book Menoras HaMeor.
On the title page: Part I, but no more were printed.
Inscribed by R' Pinchas Helevi Bamberger.
