Novella on six tractates of the Talmud by R. Eliyahu Schapiro of Prague, author of the classic work Elya Rabbah on the Shulchan Aruch. Includes important approbations from the Noda B’Yehuda, the Korban Nessanel and others.
R. Eliyahu Schapiro (1660-1712), was born in Prague and in his youth studied in Kalisch, Poland under the Magen Avrahom. He served as Rav in Kollin and Tiktin, and then as Rosh Yeshiva in Prague. Renowned for his greatness in Torah his seforim were received to tremendous acclaim.
