Thorough commentary on Maseches Shekalim by R. Yitzchok Eisek Yechiel Yehuda Safrin of Komarna. With important mention of the Vilna Gaon in the introduction.
R' Yitzchok Issac Yehuda Yechiel Safrin of Komarna (1806-1874), was a talmid of his uncle R. Tzvi Hirsch of Zidichoiv. He was renowned as a great Rebbe and a tremendous Talmid Chochom. A prolific author he wrote many works, on various different Torah subjects all of which are extremely highly regarded. His seforim include, Chumash Heichal Ha’Brocho, Otzar Chaim, Nesiv Mitzvosecha, Asiris Ha’Eifah and Notzar Chesed among others.
