Imrei Moshe, First Edition. Tarnow 1903. Work of novella on the Talmud by R. Moshe Yehuda Apter. With Many important approbations, including the Divrei Chaim, the Yetev Lev, the MaHarShaM and R. Yitzchok Schmelkes.
R' Moshe Yehuda Apter (1840-1903), was renowned throughout Galicia as a tremendous Talmid Chochom and was held in great esteem by the Divrei Chaim and the Shinnaver Rov. He served as Rosh Bais Din in Tarnow, where in addition to his rabbinical duties he taught a group of outstanding talmidim, which included R. Shmuel Engel of Radomishel and many years later R. Itizikel of Pshevorsk.
With numerous signatures of
R. Eliezer Horowitz of Melitz, scion of the Ropchitz dynasty and son of R. Naftoli of Melitz. He lived in Sanock and served as Rebbe until his martyrdom during the Holocaust.
With additional bookplate of R. Yaakov Weinberg, Rosh Yeshivas Ner Yisroel of Baltimore.
