Adão e Eva, rara escultura indo-portuguesa, do século XVII
Adam and Eve, rare Indo-Portuguese sculpture, from the 17th century. Figures represented standing, holding an apple in their left and right hands, respectively. Dressed in green foliage clothing, hiding their nudity. Long, wavy hair, falling in locks. Based on a base in the form of a cave and rocks. Missing three fingers on Adam's right hand and the thumb on Eve's left hand. Faults, faults and defects Height approx.: 31.5 cm. Height approx. total: 37.5 cm This sculpture would have a tree (apple tree) in the center, which is missing and at the base, only fitted.
