Four Stained Wicker Baskets
Blue, red, white, and black.
Wear, surface distress.
Provenance: Midwestern Virtue: Property from the Collection of Sam and Patty McCullough
Largest: 11 x 14 x 12 1/2 in. (27.9 x 35.6 x 31.8 cm.)
Red: Wear to paint on handle and base. Ding to base of handle. Some scattered splits/breaks to splint.
Repair to tail end of rim rib. Red paint possibly later.
White: Wear to handle and underside. Paint refreshed on handle and in other spots. Some scattered
splits, cracks, losses to splint.
Blue: Paint refreshed. May have been dark green. Some scattered splits and losses to splint. Some losses
on inside near one handle.
Brown: Rear to handle and base. Stain later a few scattered splits.
Generally speaking all baskets are in good, tight and structurally sound condition.
