Карасик Михаил Семёнович (1953–2017) — художник и писатель. Окончил художественно-графический факультет Ленинградского Государственного педагогического института имени А. И. Герцена. Член Союза художников России. Инициатор, идеолог и популяризатор жанра «книга художника» в России. Издавал книги и каталоги по «книге художника» и русской авангардной культуре начала ХХ века, организовал многочисленные выставки, писал статьи по «книге художника» и современному искусству. Автор более 80 «книг художника» — создал свою первую книгу в конце 1980-х. Работал в технике литографии.
