Engraver: Protasov Nikolay Gerasimovich (1936 - 2003) is a Soviet and Russian painter and batik artist, member of the Association of Artists of the RF since 1977, participant of a variety of domestic and foreign exhibitions in the U.S., Italy, Germany.

After graduation from Irkutsk Art School (1959), traveled around the country a lot, lived in Murmansk for five years, went out to sea with fishermen. In 1960s in Irkutsk was a participant of the Creative Association of Youth (ТОМ), which included the play-writer Alexander Vampilov, prosaists Valentin Rasputin and Vyacheslav Shugayev, the poet Аnatoliy Prelovskiy, artists Yuriy Silvestrov and Nikolay Protasov.
