Kamerun bzw. Gabun, wohl Ende 19. Jh., dunkel gefasstes Hartholz, sitzende männliche Ahnenstatue, die Arme vor der Brust verschränkt, um Hals und Hüfte ein Perlkettchen tragend, der Kopf verziert von zahlreichen Federn, auf schwerem quadratischen Sockel montiert, trocknungsrissig, Altersspuren, H ges. ca. 75 cm.

Cameroon or Gabon, probably late 19th century, dark coloured hardwood, seated male ancestor statue, arms crossed in front of the chest, wearing a pearl necklace around neck and hips, the head decorated with numerous feathers, mounted on a heavy square base, cracked due to drying, traces of age, total height approx. 75 cm.
