Corpulent Satan, mischievously looking at the viewer, coloured chalks on greyish paper, signed and dated lower right "Peschke 3.XII(19)96", framed behind glass, sheet measures approx. 69 x 50 cm. Artist info: German sculptor, painter and graphic artist (1946 Bad Säckingen until 2017), by special permission from 1958 attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart with Gerhard Gollwitzer, then apprenticeship as painter and varnisher. Apprenticeship as painter and varnisher, from 1967 creation of first sculptures and preoccupation with painting, trained at the Blocherer School in Munich, settled in Spain as freelance artist in 1982, 2000-2002 worked as lecturer at the Vulkaneifel Academy in Steffeln, artist friendships with Ernst Fuchs, Salvador Dali and Arno Breker, source: Wikipedia.
