Picture cup Flaneur
1st half 19th c., unmarked, of footed bell form with stepped mouth and high handle with bridge, the decoration in polychrome onglaze painting as a large rectangular cartouche on the front depicting a walker in a suggested landscape in front of a mountain range as well as flanking floral ornamentation in front of a green background, partly etched gold bands and 1/3 interior gilding, matching saucer with corresponding decoration, gilding partially rubbed, otherwise in good condition for age, h 12.5 cm.
