Meissen large pedestal for mantel clock - Meissen large pedestal for mantel clock former pedestal of a figural pendulum with Jupiter and Chronos, design probably Ernst August Leuteritz c. 1850-1860, underglaze blue pommel sword mark 1860-1924, 1st choice, incised model number 88. Choice, incised model number 88, of curved rectangular rococo form with four volute feet, richly decorated with partly openwork relief décor of cartouche, rocaille and leaf motifs on the front as well as lush floral trimming, all polychrome and gold decorated resp. Flower decoration with insects in fine polychrome onglaze painting, rare base in expertly restored old condition, trimming partially bumped, overall dimensions approx. 14 x 45 x 33 cm, dimensions of stand approx. 30 x 20 cm.
