Historicising relief panel - Historicising relief panel probably 19th century, monogrammed TW, titled Maximilian II at Wenzel Gamitzer den 8. ... 1570, Solnhofen limestone elaborately carved, detailed interior scene depicting the Nuremberg goldsmith Wenzel Jamnitzer, in whose workshop Emperor Maximilian II has found himself, on the centrally inserted table the master presents his Merkel centrepiece made for the Emperor as well as other gems, in the background one can see further works by the famous Nuremberg artist, slight signs of age, smallest chips in the marginal area, dimensions 15 x 18 cm.
