TWO VERY LARGE CHINESE ROOT CARVINGS, 19TH CENTURY. Sectional figures on stands of immortals and buffalo. Approx. 88cm tall. (2) Provenance: Property of Terence E B Harnden who served as Senior Naval Stores Officer in Hong Kong between 1937 - 1940. Acquired in Hong Kong before returning to England, thence by descent.
One side of a foot to a figure has been re stuck.
