Parliamo dunque, citando tra i tanti esclusivamente i più famosi, tra cui Salomon Koninck, Govert Flinck, Jan Lievens, Gerrit Dou. Inoltre, meritano essere menzionati in questa ristretta cerchia di maestri olandesi di chiara impronta rembrandtiana anche il suo pupillo Ferdinand Bol e l’allievo Willem Drost.
