Felice Brusasorzi o Brusasorci (Verona 1539 - 1605) attribuito I Santi Benedetto e Francesco in adorazione della Vergine e del Bambino Olio su ardesia 32 x 24 cm La composizione, divisa in due netti registri e calibrata simmetricamente, la gestualità dei santi e l’irrompere vorticoso dei vari angioletti, ci riportano al manierismo veronese del XVI secolo e in particolare al maestro Felice Brusasorzi o Brusasorci. Molti sono i riscontri citabili: per quanto riguarda la Vergine e il Bambino il dipinto della chiesa di San Pietro in Carnario a Verona raffigurante Madonna e Bambino con le SS. Lucia e Caterina, oppure Pala Giusti della Sagrestia di Sant’Anastasia; il San Francesco, invece, è molto affine alla figura centrale della Pala dei Cappuccini dell’omonima chiesa di Bolzano. Many parallels can be cited: for the Virgin and Child, the painting in the church of San Pietro in Carnario in Verona depicting Madonna and Child with SS. Lucia and Caterina, or Pala Giusti from the Sacristy of Sant'Anastasia; Saint Francis, on the other hand, is very similar to the central figure of the Capuchin Altarpiece in the church of the same name in Bolzano.
