David de Coninck (Anversa 1643 - Bruxelles dopo 1701) attribuito Tre cani da caccia, volatili e fucili in un paesaggio Olio su tela 126 x 86 cm Il riferimento attributivo si ritrova nell'analogo dipinto pubblicato in RKD, immagine n. 251670. Il dipinto citato, proveniente dalla collezione di Sir Henry Edwards, fu presentato in asta a New York, lotto 227, da Sotheby's il 26 gennaio 2012, con l'attribuzione a Frans Snyders, ora gode di un'attribuzione rivista dal dottor Fred Meijer in favore di David de Coninck. David de Coninck fu allievo di Jan Fyt, che lasciò una profonda influenza su di lui, soprattutto nella produzione di soggetti animalisti. Quando arrivò a Roma, de Coninck incontrò Abraham Brueghel, dal quale apprese la composizione delle nature morte. Restò a Roma per quasi due decenni, assumendo il posto lasciato dal Brueghel, nel frattempo trasferitosi a Napoli. The aforementioned painting, from the collection of Sir Henry Edwards, was presented at auction in New York, lot 227, by Sotheby's on the 26th of January 2012, with the attribution to Frans Snyders, now enjoys a revised attribution by Dr Fred Meijer in favour of David de Coninck.
