Crescent colour-hardened metal butt plate, richly figured stock with plain, straight grip and forend with brushed metal, rounded end cap. Post foresight, folding leaf and ladder rearsight atop the heavy, matt, octagonal barrel engraved to the top flat 'SHILOH-SHARPS MODEL 1874', 'Cal 45 2 7/8". Back lock action, set triggers, colour-hardened throughout, engraved 'SHILOH RIFLE MFG. CO. BIG TIMBER MONTANA'.
