Manuf 1917. A Parker Hale sporterised P14. Matching serial numbers and overall condition might indicate that it was never issued and like a lot of the SMLEs and P14s went for ‘adjustment’ by civilian manufacturers. The scope mounts are quite spectacular – particularly the rear being side-mounted with an angled stem.
