JOHN WILKES A 12-BORE SINGLE TRIGGER BLOXLOCK EJECTOR Ser No 4805;
Chequered butt, with a richly figured stock and finely chequered straight grip and forend. The chequering pleasingly slightly softened. The rib plain, engraved "JOHN WILKES, 7, LOWER JAMES STREET, GOLDEN SQUARE, LONDON. W1." Single trigger, automatic safetywith fine machine-finish with "SAFE" inlaid in silver. The action, silvered, richly adorned, engraved "JOHN WILKES LONDON" in a cartouche, surrounded by acanthus bouquets.
