Beautiful antique Chinese hand-painted split wedding basket designed in an octagonal shape. The wood is painted with traditional elders and children, ox, tigers and other big cats, wild boars, goats, and flowers set between geometric patterns. The warm brown wood has a soft natural patina. Chinese characters signature on side of handle.
