Classics. Neveh Shalom. First Edition! Constantinople 1538 Extremely Rare. Variant Copy
Fascinating sefer with a series of homilies on the Aggadic passages in the Talmud, interwoven with a discussion which serves as a defense of the RaMBaM’s reconciliation of Greek philosophy and Jewish thought by R. Sholom Avraham of Constantinople.
The author R. Sholom Avraham of Constantinople (died 1492), had a thorough command of many areas of learning of his period and this work is rich in references to Greek and Arabic philosophical literature.
