Neveh Shalom. Venice 1575. Fine copy.
Fascinating Sefer, including a series of homilies on Aggadic passages in the Talmud, interwoven with a discussion which serves as a defense of the RaMBaM’s reconciliation of Greek philosophy and Jewish thought.
The author R. Sholom Avraham of Constantinople (died 1492), had a thorough command of many areas of learning of his period and this work is rich in references to Greek and Arabic philosophical literature.
Vinograd Venice 607. Di Gora press. [4], 213, [15] pages. 20.5 cm. Very fine condition. Some repairs to title page. Some staining and isolated worming. Indices bound upside down. Antique binding (loose).
