Meet the artist Avigail Rein "The painting gives a feeling of creation. Realism is not copying reality but offering a private look at it. The painting is a look, not the thing itself.''
As a child and teenager, Avigail was the ballerina of Jerusalem. Years of classical ballet studies from childhood until the age of 18 kicked in her the need for a fundamental change, so she turned to medical studies. In her studies she was an excellent student and began to be part of a research group for leukemia research, the young researcher married and gave birth to four children. Over the years, she directed her strength and soul to pediatrics, and is still engaged in it today.
After a necessary transformation in her personal life, the urge for creativity and change began to kick her again. The 47-year-old Avigail began taking painting lessons with the wonderful artist Eran Webber, and with Adam Cohen at the station studio.
