Ancient Handwritten Milah Notebook – on the Book 'Sod Hashem' [Seder Hamilah] – 1845-1875
[Sefer Sod Hashem] with Seder HaMilah and its blessings, with various prayers, Sharvit HaZahav, Birkat Hamazon and more. Missing title page. 31 leaves.
On the flyleaves at the beginning and end of the book, the Mohel documented in his handwriting dozens of Britot he conducted, with their precise dates and the names of the babies he had circumcised.
The Britot are numbered: 1-20; 222-292, and approx. twenty more children, including the Mohel grandchildren. The Mohel also wrote down his daughters' date sof birth.
17 handwritten leaves. The Britot were conducted during the years 1845-1847.
Various inscriptions on the first and last leaves.
