הגאון הקדוש רבי יחיאל אויש - דומ"צ דק"ק סאטמר, ואב"ד וואלקאן נכד הגה"ק רבי צבי הירש מליסקא, ברוקלין.
ר’ יונתן שטייף (תרל”ז-תשי”ח 1877-1958) נודע כרב גדול ומוערך מאוד ששימש כראש בית דין בבודפשט. לאחר ששרד את השואה באורח נס, הוא כיהן כרב של הקהילה הווינאית בניו יורק עד לפטירתו
