Two Rare Books – Basel, 1599-1600 – Lacking Copies
1. Sefer Ha'Aruch by Rabbi Natan Bar Yechiel of Rome. Basel, 1599. The copy before us begins with leaf 7 and ends with leaf 155 (originally, 166 leaves). The front, later binding is detached and the back binding is missing.
2. Sefer "Amudei Shlomo" by the Maharshal. Basel, 1600. The copy before us begins with leaf 5 and ends with leaf 92 (originally, 149, [1], 49 leaves). Later binding is detached.
Condition: Fair. Time and dampness stains. Moth signs.
