A Personal, Warmhearted Shana Tova Letter, Handwritten and Signed by Rabbi Yitzchak Ze'ev Ha'Levi of Brisk
A Shana Tova Letter handwritten and signed by the rebbe of Brisk, Rabbi Yitzchak Ze'ev Ha'Levi Soloveitchik. Jerusalem [circa 1945]. Sent to his uncle, his mother's brother, Rabbi Yisrael Isser Shapira of Volozhin-Tel Aviv.
Among other, Rabbi Yitzchak Ze'ev Ha'Levi greets his relatives: "May they find pleasure in all their descendants and God blessing will be upon them forever …. And we shall all see the Redemption of Israel and the coming of the Messiah …"
The letter is written on a postcard. Approximately 15 handwritten lines, written with pencil.
Size: 14 cm.
Condition: Fair. Wear. The corner of the postcard is torn with a subsequent omission of several words.
