Certificate of Appreciation from the Tientsin Jewish School, 1949
A certificate of appreciation awarded to Mr. David Hanin (see previous item), the treasurer of the Tientsin Jewish School, upon the termination of his work at the school. Tientsin, China, April 25, 1949. English.
A printed certificate of appreciation: "The Committee and Teachers' Council of the Tientsin Jewish School consider it their privilege and pleasant duty to convey to you their gratitude and appreciation for the useful work carried on by you […] Under your skillful financial guidance, the School was enabled to keep its doors open". Signed by members of the teacher's council and the school committee.
The certificate is printed on Bristol and folded in half. Printed on its outside is its receiver's name and the name of the school in Hebrew, English and Chinese.
29 cm. Fair-good condition. Small tears (missing pieces) to upper left corner and edges. Traces of gluing on verso.
