Two maps out of Palestine Exploration Fund Map (a topographic map in 26 parts). Published by Survey of Egypt, Cairo, 1918. Third edition. English and Arabic in English transcript.
On the bottom of the maps appears: "The detail overprinted in purple is from photographs taken by the R.A.F. The road classification (in purple) is based on aeroplane photographs in conjunction with Intelligence Reports".
* Palestine Exploration Fund Map. Sheet VII & VIII. Map of Jenin area. On verso appears an additional map of the area with a printed note "This Side Cancelled".
57X84.5 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains. Creases. Folding marks. Open tears. Slight tears at folding lines.
