Long Letter by the Third Slonim Rebbe, Author of "Beit Avraham"
Long letter, handwritten and signed by Rabbi Avraham Weinberg, third Slonim Rebbe, New Year blessings and words of inspiration and consolation sent to "Chassidim" in Eretz -Yisrael after the pogroms of 1929, [Baranovich, Elul 5689]
Rabbi Avraham Weinberg (the second) of Baranovich, author of "Beit Avraham" (1884-1933). Son of the author of "Divrei Shmuel", lead Slonim "Chassidim" together with his oldest brother Rabbi Yissachar Leib as of 1916, although most of the "Chassidim" followed him. He settled in Baranovich where he established the "Torat Chesed" yeshiva. He had much contact with the "Chassidim" in Eretz -Yisrael and visited there twice. His renowned books "Beit Avraham" are known for their depth of Chassidic thought.
