First monograph written on Hebrew incunabula. The author, Giovanni Bernardo De Rossi (1742-1831), was an Italian Hebraist and a professor of Oriental languages at the University of Parma. The book was first published in Parma in 1776. This is its second edition, published two years later in Germany.
