ספר הקבלה הראשון שנדפס מתורת הגר"א מווילנא. הובא לדפוס על ידי תלמידו רבי מנחם מנדל משקלוב.
ספר יצירה, המיוחס לאדם הראשון, הוא מספרי הקבלה הקדומים, המהווה בסיס לתורת הקבלה. הגר"א משתמש בספר יצירה בביאוריו הקבליים ומראה כיצד היה מקור לספרי הקבלה שנכתבו אחריו.
