Letter of Good Wishes by Rebbetzin Nechama Dina Schneerson - Thank-You for Blessings She Received Upon the Marriage of the Lubavitch Rebbe with her Daughter Chaya Mushka - 1929
Autograph letter of good wishes and thanks in Yiddish, handwritten and signed by Rebbetzin Nechama Dinah Schneerson, wife of the Rebbe Rayatz of Lubavitch. Sent to R. Azriel Zelig Slonim. Riga, Latvia, Adar I [1929]. In this letter to "The honored… R. Zelig Slonim", dated 11th Adar I, the Rebbetzin thanks the recipient for the blessings received upon the marriage of her daughter Chaya Mushka to the Lubavitch Rebbe: "I have received your letter of congratulations upon the marriage of my daughter Mushka in due time. Thank you kindly. G-d has helped us, my husband and me, to see much satisfaction from all our children…". The Rebbetzin continues the letter and writes of her husband's efforts in religious and Chassidic matters and asks after the well-being of the Slonim Rabbi. Rebbetzin Nechama Dina Schneerson (1882-1971), wife of the Rebbe Rayatz. See previous item. [1] leaf. 27.5 cm. Good-fair condition. Tears to bottom margin, affecting signature. Stains. Folding marks.
