Four halachah and responsa books, printed in Amsterdam in the 1700s, first editions:
• Ohel Yaakov, responsa by R. Yaakov Sasportas. Amsterdam: Hertz Levi Rofe, [1737]. Does not include Kitzur Tzitzat Novel Tzvi, a polemical tract omitted from most copies at the decision of the Amsterdam community leaders. Large open tears affecting text on several leaves.
• Shoneh Halachot, Parts I-II, commentary on Halachot Gedolot (Bahag) by R. Shlomo Shalem. Amsterdam, [1762]. Early leather binding. Ownership inscription on title page.
• Lev Shalem, on Mishneh Torah by the Rambam, by R. Shlomo Shalem. Amsterdam, [1773].
• Binyan Ariel, Parts I-II by R. Shaul Löwenstam, Rabbi of Amsterdam, grandson of the Chacham Tzvi. Amsterdam, [1778].
4 books. Size and condition Varies. Good to fair condition. Stains, including dampstains and traces of former dampness. Wear. Tears and open tears, affecting text. Most in old bindings.
