Esther Scroll illustrated by Shmuel Ben David. "Bezalel", Jerusalem, [1920s].
The scroll is printed on parchment and rolled. The text is printed in fourteen columns and designed as a colonnade. Between the columns are pillars topped with frames within which appear illustrations from the scroll's stories, colored by hand and decorated with grapevine twigs and clusters of grapes.
14.5X86 cm. Good condition. Wear.
