Copper Plate - Exodus from Egypt - "Bezalel"
A decorated copper plate, manufactured at "Bezalel", Jerusalem, [first half of 20th century].
Copper, etching. Marked "Bezalel Yehrushalem" (Hebrew).
On the circumference of the plate appears an ornamented ring depicting the Children of Israel leaving Egypt, and on the top of the plate appears the shape of the Tablets of the Law, inscribed "Exodus from Egypt, Bezalel, Yerushalem" (Hebrew). In the center - a round medallion, surrounded by a ring of stylized Stars of David with an inscription in the center: "and I shall bring you to the country…" (Hebrew).
Diameter: 19.5 cm. Good condition. Slight defects. Suspension loop on the back.
