"Zim" Shipping Company - Advertising Poster Designed by Otte Wallisch
SS Israel / New York - Gibraltar - Naples - Haifa, illustrated advertising poster issued by the shipping company "Zim". Printed by E. Lewin Epstein, [Tel-Aviv, ca. 1956]. Design: Otte Wallisch (signed in the plate: "Walish").
An advertising poster portraying the ship "SS Israel" far out at sea, with an exceptionally large Menorah behind it (taken from the emblem of the State of Israel).
90.5X61 cm. Good condition. Creases. Slight defects and tears at margins, some repaired with acid-free adhesive tape on the back. Upper right corner is missing and restored with pasted paper (with color completion).
