Letter of Blessing and Guidance from the Lubavitcher Rebbe – 1967 – Blessing for an Easy Pregnancy and Birth ("a Son with the Rebbe's Blessing") – "It Would be Correct to Check His Tefillin and the Mezuzot in His Apartment"

Letter from Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneersohn – the Lubavitcher Rebbe, with his signature. Brooklyn NY, 24th MarCheshvan 1967.
Typewritten on the official stationery of the rebbe, with his signature and the addition of several words in his handwriting.
Addressed to R. Chaim Yosef Lieberman in Tel Aviv. In his letter, the rebbe blesses: "May G-d complete her pregnancy smoothly and easily, and may she give birth to a live baby at the right time smoothly and easily". Further in the letter, the rebbe adds advice and guidance: "It would be correct to check his tefillin and the mezuzot in their apartment – if they have not been checked in the past 12 months – to ensure they are all halachically valid".
At the end of the letter, after "Bivracha" (with blessings), the rebbe added in his handwriting "for good news".

In the Mishpachah Chassidit supplement to the Kfar Chabad weekly (issue 1803), Mrs. Leah Lieberman of Tel Aviv, wife of R. Chaim Yosef Lieberman, relates: "My husband and I got married in Tammuz 1955… for many long, painful and difficult years, we hoped and longed to have children… my father travelled to the United States, to the rebbe, and asked for a blessing for us for children. The rebbe answered: "She will have and she will have". The blessing was fulfilled. A son was born to us… and this son has thank G-d five sons of his own" (see enclosed material).
