Collection of handwritten and printed paper items from the home and estate of the kabbalist R. Moshe Yaakov Rabikov, the "Holy Shoemaker", including amulets and notes in his handwriting (some 7 items) and two documents with his signature.
• 24 letters and kvitelach addressed to R. Moshe Yaakov from around the world, with requests for prayer and salvation. • Segulah for the childless, handwritten by R. Moshe Yaakov. • Amulet for fertility handwritten by R. Moshe Yaakov. • Curse handwritten by R. Moshe Yaakov, against two leaders of the Arab Revolt, including the Jerusalem Mufti Haj Amin el-Husseini. • Small mimeographed booklet with segulot and incantations. • And more.
R. Moshe Yaakov Rabikov (1873-1967) – the "Holy Shoemaker" from Shabazi St., Tel Aviv. Hidden Tzaddik, kabbalist and wonder-worker. Although he tried to conceal himself and his abilities, the Torah leaders recognized his eminence and the Chazon Ish even sent people to him for his advice and blessings.
