Emissary letter in neat calligraphic script, signed with the signature-stamps of R. Avraham Ashkenazi and R. Refael Meir Panigel, with the stamps of community institutions and of the trustees of Vaad Pekidei Kushta (body in Constantinople centralizing the financial assistance to the residents of Eretz Israel): R. Chaim Nissim Baruch, R. Shlomo Abulafia, and others. Jerusalem, [Adar II 1870].
Addressed to R. Yehuda Chermon (a rabbi of Oran, Algeria), regarding the routine mission of R. Asher Avraham HaLevi son of R. Yaakov HaLevi to benefit the destitute Jews of Jerusalem, who were in a difficult financial situation due to a drought and locust plague.
