Large collection of letters and receipts for donations, from rabbis, rebbes and chassidim, addressed to Rebbe Yekutiel Yehuda Halberstam of Sanz-Klausenburg. Eretz Israel, ca. 1950s.
The writers of the letters include: R. Yehuda Tzvi Brandwein, son-in-law of the Baal HaSulam and rebbe of Stretin; R. Berish Salz, rabbi in Safed; R. Yechiel Labin of Zidichov and Makova, father-in-law of Rebbe Aharon Rokeach of Belz; and others.
The receipts are signed by: Rebbe Mordechai Goldman of Zhvil; Rebbetzin Rechel Twersky, granddaughter of the Divrei Chaim; Rebbe Yechezkel Shraga Lipschitz Halberstam of Stropkov; Rebbe Aharon Aryeh Leifer of Tomashov; and others.
