Letter with Good Year Wishes from the Minchat Elazar of Munkacs – Munkacs, Elul 1936
Letter from Rebbe Chaim Elazar Shapiro, author of Minchat Elazar, with one line in his handwriting and with his signature. Munkacs (Mukachevo), Elul 1936.
Written in the name of the rebbe on his official postcard, to one of his Chassidim living in Batei Munkacs in Jerusalem. Confirmation of receipt of Pidyon Nefesh money, with many blessings for the new year.
With additional blessings handwritten and signed by the rebbe: "…blessing you with a good inscription and sealing for longevity… a year of Redemption and imminent salvation… Chaim Elazar Shapiro".
Postcard. 15X10 cm. Good-fair condition. Stains, dampstains. Folding marks, creases and wear. Postage stamps removed.
