“Ilan Ha-Gadol”, Kabbalistic illustrations, fundamentals of Kabbalah, Sephirot order and the development of realms, by Rabbi Meir Poppers disciple of Ha'Ari. Warsaw, 1864. Printed on a paper scroll, 3.5 meters long. In a round metal case (most likely, original).
“Ilan HaGadol” written by kabbalist Rabbi Meir Katz Poppers…disciple of Ha'Ari… to climb a ladder…including all the writings of Ha'Ari…”. Approbation by the kabbalist Rebbe Rabbi Yesha’ayahu Mushkat, who writes: ”…I give my consent to print the Ilan HaKadosh…”. Below the approbation the protective qualities of the Ilan are written: “protection against all evil and for raising sons”. With an addition of the place of printing in a foreign language.
Shaped as a scroll, text printed from top to bottom, 350X20 cm.
Condition: Most of the Ilan is in Very Good condition. On top, a tear with slight omission (of the approbation). At the end, restored tears with omission. A little moth damage.
