Large Collection of Letters Handwritten by the Rebbe of Modzitz the "Imrei Esh"
Fourteen letters by the Rebbe of Modzitz, Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu Taub to his brother-in-law, Rabbi Shmuel Aharon Shzadrovsky.

The letters are from the years 1948-1954. Some were sent from the USA, where the Rebbe was staying at the house of his brother-in-law Rabbi Avraham Shenkar. They were sent to his brother-in-law, Rabbi Shmuel Aharon Shzadrovsky. They contain family matters, greetings, religious and public matters. In some, the Rebbetzen inquires as to the health of the addressee's wife.
Ten letters are handwritten and signed by him, three additional letters are signed by him and one letter was written on his behalf.
Added is an additional letter, most likely in his handwriting, from the time his hand was injured (this is reflected by the trembling script and he notes: "my hand is injured"). On the reverse side of the leaf, a letter handwritten by his son, Rabbi Yisrael Dan Taub, the Rebbe of Modzitz.

The Rebbe, Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu Taub of Modzitz (1905-1984), th egarndson of Rabbi Yisrael of Modzitz, was called after his great grandfather, Rabbi Shmuel Eliyahu Taub, the son of Rabbi Yechezkel of Kozmir. In 1936, he immigrated to the Land of Israel and established his Beit Midrash in Tel Aviv. His father, the Rebbe Rabbi Shaul, survived the Holocaust and immigrated to the Land of Israel. After his father's death in 1948, he became Rebbe. Was one of the most prominent Rebbes of the Land of Israel. Established the "Imrei Shaul" Yeshiva in Bnei Berak. Was a member of Moetzet Gedolei Ha'Torah since 1973. Author of "Imrei Esh".

His brother-in-law was Rabbi Shmuel Aharon Shzadrovsky, one of the leaders of "Agudat Yisrael" in Europe. After the war, immigrated to the Land of Israel and lived in Tel Aviv, where he served as the vice chairman of the executive committee of "Agudat Yisrael" in the Land of Israel and as chairman of the "Agudat Yisrael" branch of Tel Aviv. Despite his positions, he was a modest, simple man. His sons-in-law were the Rebbe Rabbi Yisrael Dan Taub of Modzitz and Rabbi David Matityahu Rabinowitz of Biala-Bneir Berak.

Condition: Good. Some of the letters are worn.
