The Official Document of the Establishment of the Ashkenazic Committee of the City of Jerusalem ("Ha'Edah Ha'Charedit") - Signatures of Dozens (!) of the Rabbis of Jerusalem - 1921 - Historical Document!
The official document of the establishment of the "Committee of the Ashkenazic Communities of Jerusalem", under the presidency of Rabbi Yitzchak Yerucham Diskin and Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld, from the month of Cheshvan 1921, then the Ashkenazic Committee, which would eventually be called "Ha'Edah Ha'Charedit", was founded.
In the document, the members of the committee state that the committee "is managed by a management committee, an executive committee, a chairman, vice chairman, and a secretary, under the presidency of the above genius, pious rabbis Shalita".
